Old Plate with style

I needed something with a touch of red 

to finish up the plate wall in my bedroom, 

I found an old plate in storage at Mom's house 

 it was the perfect shape but had the old gold trim around the edges

So, what's a girl to do? 

I took a colored red pen and went right over the gold

It certainly is not perfect - but it works for me!

Here it is up on my wall

You really cannot tell that I colored outside the lines

I'm loving it!
